A Great Cup!

You can easily reuse these a few times each and they are way more environmentally friendly than Styrofoam! That's the first answer to your question: isn't it not-so-green to be using disposable paper cups with all the concern about the environment?

These cups are wonderful. The insulation is perfect to keep hot beverages hot and the outside of the cup cool enough to not require a sleeve to handle (but still warm enough to keep your hand toasty on cold mornings). Get the lids - separate purchase or buy the combo pack - so you can go mobile in the morning with your hot cuppa joe. One great feature for those craving a quick and easy fix is that the 16 oz. size holds two servings of hot beverage from the Keurig pod coffee make on the 2/4 size setting. As I eluded to, I get on average four uses out of each cup, I simply rinse it after using it and save it for the next time. Even so, I have left coffee in it for 5 days without the liquid soaking through the seam.

The cups with lids are perfect for the car or for kids. A full side tip causes no leakage around the lid and only minimal loss through the "drink hole". At home on weekend mornings, I go old school and drink out of my favorite mug. Most other times you'll find me with one of these cups, full of dark roasted goodness. Considering that most people are buying overpriced coffee from coffee stands right after they get to work and that these expensive drinks come in hard-to-reuse paper cups, these babies are a slam dunk. They will quickly pay for themselves by allowing you to bring your favorite coffee in from home.

Don't waste another day or $3 on "boutique" coffee in hot cups that require insulation sleeves to handle, buy these cups - and don't forget the lids!

Great cup

The add now says nothing about 1000 cups and those thinking they would get 90% off are not using common sense. After the first reviewer complained about the count being wrong that should have been a warning to anyone ordering when the label said 1000ct. Did we all forget or never learn the saying "if it's too good to be true......" as to the actual product I've used the hard to find 20oz ones for years. More coffee volume helps stay warmer longer, I also reuse the cup a number of times after rinsing out and letting dry upside down. After a few times I'll switch to new cup and use old as the outer cup to make a double cup, works well. They fit cup holders fine also.

Look no further for a great hot/cold cup

I was starting to tire of the big red/blue plastic 18-ounce cups for beverages at home when I didn't want to dirty a glass, and they did nothing for hot beverages. And quality varied greatly on those plastic cups - nothing ruined a meal or snack like getting that "plastic taste" in your beverage.

So I started looking for a good quality paper cup that could match the size without giving me that plastic taste. Supermarkets were no help; the only paper cups they sell are bathroom size or those small ones we all hate to use at office/school parties. After a couple of web searches, I came across these Dixie PerfecTouch cups. They're heavy duty paper cups with a light insulating coating on the outside - it makes them easy to hold regardless of the beverage. And the 16 ounce size is perfect for home use as well as business. They don't wilt or warp like paper soda cups from fast-food restaurants if the beverage is left in them for long periods of time, and they're always ready for a refill.

Don't limit yourself to just coffee, tea, and hot chocolate - have some milk, soda, juice, or just a nice cool drink of water in these cups too! These cups aren't available around every corner, but they're worth the purchase. I won't bother with the red/blue plastic cups again.
